Babysitting As A Business
I hope you find this website informative and helpful in making your babysitting business successful. Babysitting is much more than a business, though: It's a calling. Babysitting with a purpose means you are on a mission for God.
Babysitting With A Purpose
Being a Christian babysitter is important! In fact, it's one of the most important jobs ever! When you serve and care for children, you are actually serving God. The Bible says whatever you do for those in need is actually like doing something for Him (check out Matthew 25:40). When you think of it that way, bandaging a scraped arm or hugging a crying child suddenly seems much more significant!
Do you remember what Jesus said when a disciple asked Him who was the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven? Jesus called a child over and said, "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:3-6). Wow! That's heavy duty stuff. God really cares about what happens to children and wants you to help them know Him. It's up to you, His servant, to help lead them in the right direction and keep them far from sin.
If you're a Christian girl or boy who wants to become a babysitter, you can learn how to share your faith with children who may never otherwise set foot inside a church. By incorporating these fun tips, bible-themed crafts, games, and stories into your job, you won't need to plop them down in front of the television or video game for hours on end, but will come prepared to care for the little ones God has placed you over and make tons of money while doing it!

Babysitter Instructor - Rebecca Park Totilo
As a mother of four, my daughter’s desire to babysit was the inspiration for writing a book on babysitting and creating this online course. Even though she was old enough, I wanted to make sure she could handle any sticky situation that may arise while on the job. After my own first nerve-racking experience as a babysitter at the age of 12 turned disasterous (the young infant I was watching developed a fever and had things coming out from both ends), I wanted to make sure she'd know what to do if that ever happened to her. We both learned alot as we put these kid-tested techniques, tips, crafts, games into practice. My hope is this course will prepare you as a qualified baby-sitter as well!
