The best part about babysitting is you get paid to play! Kids get bored playing with the same toys. Suggest one of these games when they are ready to do something different. Some have biblical tie-ins and some are just fun! Here are some easy ways to keep the kids (and you!) entertained.
Come And Get Me
Hide behind a chair or sofa and say, "Judah, come and get me. Can you find me?" Once he looks around the chair and discovers where you are hiding, say, "You found me!" Or crawl around on the floor with the baby and say, "Are you following me?"
Creepy Mouse
Use two fingers to walk up the baby's chest as you say, "Creep, creep, creep, creep..." Once your hand reaches under her neck, tickle her and say, "Creepy mouse!"
Falling Towers
Spread a blanket on the floor to sit on with the baby. Place some safe, colorful toys within the baby's reach, such as blocks. Stack the blocks and let the baby knock them over. The baby will probably play this game as long as you keep stacking the blocks for him.
